•$165,000 - $190,000

About The Position

Tennr is hiring a Product Operations Lead to run the operating system for its Product and Engineering team. The role oversees how work is planned and reviewed, how customer feedback informs the roadmap, and how new functionality is launched to customers. Working closely with Product and Engineering leadership, the lead connects those teams with customer-facing groups including CX, Deployment, Sales, and Managed Services. The role owns the planning and review cadence, customer-signal processes, cross-functional product rollouts, and vendor and partner relationships. It also involves building tools and lightweight processes that help product managers work effectively, monitoring outcomes, and taking responsibility for addressing gaps. The position suits an ambitious, analytical, highly cross-functional candidate who wants direct ownership of how Tennr plans and ships product.

  • Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams on planning, launches, or roadmap tradeoffs.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand unfamiliar products, workflows, or technical systems in depth.
  • Ability to use data and customer feedback to assess plans and launches and determine appropriate actions.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to align Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams without detailed instructions while keeping work moving.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to turn complex decisions into clear documents, launch pre-reads, or updates.
  • Takes responsibility for outcomes and stays with problems until they are resolved.
  • Strong work ethic and low ego; willing to personally handle detailed, repetitive, or messy work when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Run Product and Engineering planning and review cadence, including quarterly planning, goal setting, and regular business and execution reviews.
  • Bring together priorities, capacity, headcount needs, and dependencies to support decisions and follow-through, using reporting based on existing data.
  • Own the process for channeling customer feedback from CX, Deployment, Sales, and Managed Services to Product and Engineering, synthesizing it into prioritized roadmap inputs and closing the loop with teams that raised it.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch readiness, documentation, training, and customer enablement for new functionality.
  • Own the launch calendar, run go/no-go reviews with clear sign-offs, manage betas or early access programs with defined exit criteria, and conduct launch retrospectives.
  • Identify and prioritize vendors and strategic partners, evaluate opportunities, and coordinate the commercial, technical, and operational work needed to establish relationships.
  • Build custom tools, automations, and AI-powered workflows, such as feedback triage and planning dashboards, to improve product managers’ effectiveness.
  • Develop and refine lightweight Product and Engineering processes as the team scales, and measure whether they are being used.
  • Use data and feedback to assess plans and rollouts, identify gaps, make recommendations, and take responsibility for resolving issues.
  • Own cross-functional projects as business priorities evolve, from problem definition through execution and measurement.
