About The Position

This hands-on production role supports production operations while meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and company standards. Under the supervision of a foreman, the associate sets up production, tears down the department, and maintains a constant workflow on the line. The associate uses a walkie rider or walk-behind equipment to move product from the line to the cooler and records tanks and racks for inventory purposes. Other duties may be assigned by the foreman.

Requirements

• Able to follow directions and pay attention to detail.
• Know how to drive a Hi-Lo.
• Have good vision and understand the English language.
• Able to work safely and maintain perfect attendance.
• Able to wear the required personal protective equipment: protective eyewear, ear plugs, hard hat, hair net, protective coat, forearm protection, plastic gloves, and cotton gloves.
• Able to perform the essential functions of the role and obtain a Walkie Rider/Walk Behind driver license.
• Able to twist, bend, reach, and stand for 8 hours or the duration of the shift in a wet, cold environment.
• Able to lift over 30 to 50 pounds during shift hours and use all four limbs.

Responsibilities
