The Product Marketing Specialist role is a new, full-time, permanent opportunity based in Scarborough, Ontario. This role is crucial for driving go-to-market initiatives for Merrithew's premium Pilates offering in a B2B environment. The specialist will execute product launches, campaigns, and sales enablement programs with precision and consistency, translating strategy into action by coordinating cross-functional inputs, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality delivery of all go-to-market elements. The successful candidate will combine strong project management with a customer-first mindset to deliver compelling product narratives that resonate with studio owners and operators, supporting demand generation and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong customer-first mindset, with the ability to view products and messaging through the lens of the end user and studio operator.
  • Proven ability to manage projects across multiple stages, from concept through execution, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent timeline and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to take initiative and move work forward independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to be agile and adaptable, with comfort navigating shifting priorities and pivoting when needed.
  • High level of ownership and accountability, with a mindset of seeing projects through to completion and driving outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for tone, storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and refinement of product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks aligned to a premium brand.
  • Help translate product features into clear, differentiated benefits tailored to studio owners, operators, and decision-makers.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of product launches and updates, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Coordinate campaign assets and timelines to support new product launches.
  • Contribute to integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness and demand within target segments.
  • Develop high-quality sales tools, including pitch decks, product sheets, competitive comparisons, and case studies.
  • Partner closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and refine messaging.
  • Equip sales with compelling narratives that reflect the premium nature of the brand and offering.
  • Work closely with internal teams to create and edit content that brings the product experience to life, including website copy, email campaigns, and other pieces.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency and quality.
  • Be part of conducting research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics within the Pilates and fitness and wellness space.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, prospects, and internal teams to inform messaging and product improvements.
