About The Position

Bishop Fox is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to define how the company connects its offensive security expertise to organizations that need it. For over 20 years, Bishop Fox has helped organizations identify and close security gaps. This role will shape the narrative by translating services and technical capabilities into compelling stories, sales content, and customer proof points. The Product Marketing Manager will help organizations navigate the cybersecurity market and connect with solutions tailored to their risks. Reporting to the Senior Product and Services Marketing Director, this position involves close collaboration with executive leadership, offerings management, sales enablement, marketing colleagues, and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate is a marketer comfortable with both technical discussions and executive presentations, capable of understanding technology, identifying buyer needs, and creating persuasive content with minimal direction.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, customer marketing, content marketing, or a related role in cybersecurity or tech.
  • Track record of working directly with top executives and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience creating impactful customer-facing and enablement content, including presentations, solution briefs, and interactive content.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a knack for turning technical complexity into clear, persuasive messaging.
  • Skilled at building alignment across senior leadership, marketing, offerings management, sales, channel, and technical SMEs.
  • Strong learning agility, with comfort working from high-level direction and structuring ideas that are still taking shape.
  • Excellent project management skills, with an adaptable style suited to a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to be on-site at our San Francisco office at least 2 days per week.
  • Must pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI/LLMs, application security, offensive security, or other emerging tech.
  • Experience in management consulting or as a Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities

  • Shape messaging that positions Bishop Fox to stand out, clearly communicates value, and resonates with customers.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate their vision into clear, strategic narratives.
  • Help build go-to-market plays that align Bishop Fox’s offerings with customer use cases and translate segmentation into effective messaging and content.
  • Support new offering launches and ongoing communication about evolving services and capabilities, including AI security.
  • Collaborate with Sales to understand buyer personas, objections, and content needs.
  • Transform high-level concepts and complex subject matter into polished, customer-facing sales collateral, presentations, and interactive content.
  • Support sales and partner enablement programs by equipping AEs and partners with necessary positioning, messaging, and content.
  • Manage projects from concept through review, feedback, design, and delivery.
  • Gather feedback on content performance to continuously refine materials.
  • Develop sufficient knowledge of Bishop Fox’s services to confidently ask questions, challenge assumptions, and identify the core story.
