About The Position

This is a deeply technical Product Marketing Manager role focused on the customer-facing side of marketing. The position requires consolidating existing customer communication functions, including onboarding emails, newsletters, webinars, support documentation, case studies, and reviews. The ideal candidate will be able to understand technical documentation and engage in discussions about topics like encryption and CMMC scoping to produce accurate content. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Marketing, involving close collaboration with Customer Success and Support teams to leverage customer knowledge. The role also involves building and maintaining AI workflows to enhance program efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in product marketing, customer marketing, or a related technical role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience running customer programs such as references, reviews, advocacy, or lifecycle email.
  • Technical background with the ability to understand and write about encryption and compliance scoping without significant engineering revision.
  • Proficiency in using AI as a production tool.
  • Ability to collaborate in person at least 1 day per week (Boston-based preferred).
  • Intellectual curiosity to understand the product and customer motivations.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear writing and the ability to hold technical conversations.
  • Detail-oriented approach to content creation.
  • Ability to build trust across different teams (CS, Support, Marketing, Sales) and with customers.
  • Gritty and self-sufficient mindset, with the ability to own programs and set pace.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, re-write, and rebuild the customer knowledgebase in partnership with the Support team.
  • Own the strategy, calendar, and results for automated welcome and onboarding emails, the customer newsletter, and customer webinars.
  • Produce case studies, customer one-pagers, manage the AE-Customer reference program, solicit G2 & Capterra reviews, and execute light customer marketing initiatives.
  • Pair the website and product narrative with real customer evidence by feeding customer insights back into the marketing strategy.
  • Build and maintain AI workflows for drafting knowledgebase articles, mining customer calls for new use cases and language, and continuous competitor monitoring.
