About The Position

Canary Technologies is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Lead to manage and scale the impact of product marketing across the company. This role will lead an existing team of Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and serve as a crucial link between product, sales, and marketing teams. The Product Marketing Lead will be responsible for defining Canary's market position as a leader in AI solutions for guest and staff management, establishing the platform's positioning and messaging, owning pricing and packaging strategies, and clearly communicating Canary's value proposition to individual hotels and large brands. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with the Head of Brand Marketing and the leadership team to influence strategy and roadmap prioritization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product marketing.
  • At least 2–3 years managing and developing a PMM team.
  • Experience scaling the impact of a PMM function.
  • Deep expertise in pricing and packaging strategy, ideally in a SaaS context with a multi-product portfolio.
  • Strong positioning and messaging skills; experience bringing complex products to market.
  • Experience with product launches from concept through post-launch measurement, including launches across multiple tiers.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.
  • Analytically rigorous; uses data to make decisions, build business cases, and focus on customer value and ROI.
  • Background in B2B SaaS AI or hospitality technology strongly preferred.
  • Candidates who have worked in vertically focused SaaS (especially in industries with complex, multi-segment buyer dynamics) will stand out.
  • Based in New York City.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid environment (3 days/week in office).

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of PMMs (currently 3).
  • Build the function's operating model and ensure high quality and speed of execution.
  • Foster a culture of continuous investment in individuals and the function through feedback and improvements.
  • Define and maintain Canary's platform and product-level positioning.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions for hotel operators.
  • Build the overarching platform narrative and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Differentiate Canary's narrative from the competitive landscape.
  • Own the Go-To-Market (GTM) process end-to-end for product launches, including strategy, tiering, internal collaboration, and external amplification.
  • Continuously analyze and monitor product performance, identifying opportunities for improvement from pipeline to churn reduction.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the hospitality tech competitive landscape, buyer dynamics, and the impact of AI on the category.
