Product Marketing Lead - Growth & Revenue

MercuryPortland, OR
$187,000 - $259,800

About The Position

Mercury is seeking a go-to-market leader to drive growth and revenue by optimizing three distinct go-to-market motions: product-led (self-serve), sales-led (for larger businesses), and partner-led (referrals through trusted partners). The ideal candidate will develop and execute a data-driven strategy with consistent positioning across the entire customer journey to make these motions work more effectively together.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience with full ownership of GTM strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience driving growth across multiple GTM motions (product-led, sales-led, partner-led) and understanding their interaction.
  • Strong messaging and positioning skills, including developing narratives, testing them with customers, and creating assets for sales and partners.
  • Revenue mindset with experience tracking contribution to pipeline, activation, and retention, and using data to inform strategy.
  • Experience working with sales leadership on messaging and proof points to enhance pipeline sourcing and deal closure.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align teams (sales, product, partnerships, growth) around a shared GTM plan without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience, including familiarity with regulatory, trust, and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience at a company that scaled through multiple GTM channels simultaneously, especially with a strong PLG foundation extending into enterprise or channel.
  • Data fluency, comfortable with tools like Amplitude, Hex, Metabase, or SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end GTM strategy across Mercury's product-led, sales-led, and partner-led growth motions, including segmentation, messaging, and cross-functional execution.
  • Manage and grow a team of product marketers and partner marketers.
  • Build and maintain the customer journey, messaging, and infrastructure that works across all three motions, ensuring shared value propositions and personas are consistent yet adaptable for different onboarding flows, sales conversations, and partner co-marketing.
  • Partner closely with the growth product organization on strategy and execution for driving top-of-funnel, conversion, activation, and virality.
  • Partner with sales leadership on messaging and enablement, including battlecards, objection-handling frameworks, and segment-specific playbooks.
  • Develop Mercury's partner marketing strategy in collaboration with the partnerships team, encompassing co-marketing programs, partner enablement materials, and joint GTM playbooks.
  • Lead customer and market research to stay ahead of competitive dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and inform product, pricing, and roadmap decisions.
  • Define and track PMM metrics for growth (activation, adoption, advocacy) to continuously improve GTM strategy.
