About The Position

Sensata Technologies is seeking a Power & Peak Product Manager to shape power solutions for AI data centers as the industry transitions from traditional AC distribution toward 800 VDC architectures. The role translates evolving infrastructure needs into differentiated power conversion and peak power solutions. It owns product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, and business cases for data center power conversion and peak power management solutions, from architecture definition through development, qualification, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The Product Manager works with hyperscalers, data center operators, OEMs, ODMs, EPCs, and system integrators to identify future power requirements and translate customer needs into product specifications, technology roadmaps, and commercial opportunities. The role leads cross-functional execution, evaluates competitive gaps, and identifies build, partner, or acquisition opportunities that can strengthen Sensata’s position in next-generation data center power infrastructure. It also oversees product positioning, pricing, portfolio optimization, and product-line performance while addressing operational issues related to quality, delivery, and production.

  • Ability to assess 800 VDC adoption across power conversion, energy storage, protection, distribution, rack infrastructure, and AI compute systems.
  • Understanding of system-level tradeoffs across AC, HVDC/800 VDC, centralized and distributed conversion, energy storage, rack-level power, and protection architectures.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC conversion, bidirectional power conversion, high-power rectifiers, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Transformer Rectifier Units (TRUs), Solid-State Transformers (SSTs), and wide-bandgap power electronics.
  • Understanding of emerging approaches to peak-power management, short-duration energy buffering, power smoothing, backup power, and grid-constrained deployment for dynamic AI/GPU workloads.
  • Expertise in UPS and energy-storage converters, peak-power buffering and power augmentation architectures, and wide-bandgap semiconductor technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop actionable product roadmaps by integrating cross-functional stakeholder input with business objectives and product strategy.
