About The Position

HeC, a property of Everyday Health Group, is looking for a Product Manager. This role involves solving complex problems and building impactful recruiting solutions, with a focus on driving growth in SaaS products. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare talent acquisition by defining and executing a product roadmap that increases key engagement metrics. This will involve understanding user needs, market trends, and competitive offerings to drive measurable growth in platform usage and partner retention.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communicator and collaborator, able to effectively influence and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Track Record of Product Management: Proven track record of product management with 3+ years of experience leading product engineering teams and launching successful products, ideally within a two-sided marketplace or SaaS environment.
  • End-to-End Funnel Expertise: Hands-on experience analyzing and optimizing the full user experience funnel — from initial candidate discovery and talent acquisition through job search, browsing, and application completion. Ability to identify drop-off points, prioritize experiments, and implement changes that meaningfully lift conversion rates. Hands-on experience designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests to drive measurable product improvements and growth initiatives.
  • SEO Strategy and Organic Growth: Strong working knowledge of search engine optimization as it applies to content-rich, high-volume platforms. Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, on-page optimization, and structured data — including Google for Jobs schema markup — and how to apply them to drive organic candidate traffic. Fluency in the evolving search landscape, including how AI Overviews (AIO) are reshaping organic visibility and click-through behavior, and ability to translate that knowledge into concrete product and content strategies.

Passion for understanding and solving user problems, with a track record of conducting user research and translating insights into product improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience gained at a career search platform, an e-commerce site, or another high-traffic consumer marketplace where funnel performance is a core business driver.
  • Experience in the online recruitment industry, with an understanding of the dynamics between employers and job seekers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Innovation and Execution: Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality features and enhancements. Work closely with the Data Science team and external vendors to drive innovation and expand AI solutions for matching healthcare professionals to employers.
  • Deeply Understand Our Users (Job Seekers): Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the needs, behaviors, and pain points of healthcare job seekers through user research, data analysis, and collaboration with customer-facing teams.
  • Collaborate Effectively Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and partner management teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery. Establish clear communication channels and processes for effective cross-functional collaboration within the first 3 months.
  • Utilize Data to Drive Decisions: Establish and leverage OKRs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven product decisions.
