About The Position

Target is a leading retailer focused on enhancing the digital shopping experience. The Digital Strategy & Platform team aims to provide guests with a seamless online shopping journey across platforms like Target.com and store fulfillment capabilities. This involves creating and implementing digital strategies that personalize, simplify, and enhance the online experience, complementing the in-store shopping interaction. Product Teams at Target are responsible for delivering business outcomes through technology and analytics products that are user-friendly, maintainable, and reliable. The Social Commerce team is redefining how creators influence discovery, engagement, and purchase. Club Target is a key product within this ecosystem, focused on building direct relationships with creators, generating user-generated content (UGC), and driving business impact through social commerce. This role specifically supports the growth and evolution of the Club Target Creator Program.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain expertise
  • Ideally with direct experience in creator platforms
  • Additional exposure to social commerce or ecommerce platforms, affiliate systems, and/or user generated content ecosystems
  • Familiarity with content workflows
  • Experience working with external vendors and strong partnership management
  • Technical aptitude
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for a defined area of Club Target ensuring alignment to product strategy and OKRs
  • Translate product strategy into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements for your product area
  • Partner with external engineering and product partners to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
  • Track and analyze product performance against business impact and metrics to inform prioritization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including operations/support, communications, marketing, and program management
  • Deeply understand the creator journey from onboarding to activation and retention
  • Communicate product priorities, progress, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders
  • Contribute insights and recommendations to inform ongoing product improvements and roadmap decisions
  • Develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product
  • Build strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and other relevant data points
  • Prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product
  • Work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product
  • Act as the “voice of the product” with your product team and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria)
  • Encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints
  • Inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction
  • Foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals
  • Leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
