About The Position

We're looking for a Product Manager to own the roadmap and execution of Basata's AI products that automate complex administrative workflows across deep medical specialties.
You'll sit at the intersection of customers, engineering, and go-to-market. You'll spend real time with practice staff, translate messy operational problems into clear product direction, and ship things that move the needle. This is a foundational PM hire with outsized influence on what Basata becomes.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of product management experience, ideally with at least one stint at an early-stage or high-growth startup where you wore multiple hats.
• You've led engineering teams through ambiguous product problems and can hold your own in architecture discussions.
• You've shipped AI-powered products and understand what it takes to make them reliable.
• You're energized by spending time in clinics, shadowing staff, and turning qualitative insight into product conviction.
• You default to shipping over planning, you close open loops, and you don't wait for permission to solve problems.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare or complex-operations domain experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own product outcomes: define problems clearly, propose solutions, ship quickly, and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
• Turn ambiguity into clarity: healthcare workflows are messy and undocumented. You'll shape the roadmap, not just execute it.
• Partner tightly with engineering and applied AI: drive product from idea to launch through rapid cycles of building, measuring, and refining.
• Live in the workflow: Work alongside with practice staff to deeply understand their workflows and pain points, then reimagine what those workflows should look like in a world powered by AI.
• Be the voice of the customer internally: bring field insights into every product decision, sprint priority, and roadmap review
• Operate at startup speed: shifting priorities, fast context switches, and aggressive timelines are where you do your best work.
