About The Position

Confiz is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support a high-impact Point of Sale (POS) platform engagement serving large-scale retail operations nationwide. This contract opportunity will support multiple product squads focused on scaling and enhancing enterprise retail and payment capabilities through the end of 2026. This role offers significant visibility and ownership, partnering directly with Engineering, UX, and operational stakeholders to drive delivery of customer-facing and internal platform initiatives. The engagement also presents potential long-term opportunities as the organization continues to expand its technology teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise, platform, retail, or consumer-facing products
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and cross-functional squad models
  • Strong ability to manage product backlogs, prioritize workstreams, and coordinate delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience with retail technology, payments, or POS platforms
  • Experience delivering payment-related functionality or commerce solutions
  • Ability to independently manage initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end epic delivery, from problem definition through implementation and launch
  • Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable product solutions
  • Maintain product backlog health, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery transparency
  • Support roadmap planning and backlog refinement for upcoming product initiatives
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
  • Escalate blockers proactively and drive resolution in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Represent product initiatives in leadership discussions, planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews
  • Navigate ambiguity effectively while maintaining a strong bias toward execution and delivery
  • Support feature delivery and backlog planning for enterprise POS expansion initiatives
  • Help scale and optimize POS capabilities ahead of critical retail business periods
  • Checkout & Payment Enhancements
  • Lead initiatives involving Card Not Present payment functionality
  • Support delivery of: Durable Consent Card-on-File / Digital Wallet capabilities
  • Payment Links & Consent Management
  • Product-not-Present ordering experience
