Product Manager (2x YC founder mentorship)
About The Position
Jerry.ai is hiring 2–3 Product Managers to build or scale one of its new product verticals as the company pursues growth from 5 million to 50 million customers by 2030. The role works directly with and is mentored by the Cofounder/CEO, who is described as a 2x Y Combinator founder. Product Managers will help execute ideas across new businesses that have distinct customer needs and operational complexity. Reporting directly to the CEO, the position offers exposure to product, growth, operations, finance, engineering, and data. The successful candidate will develop product-building skills, learn how a serial founder and CEO makes decisions, and gain insight into the day-to-day challenges of a late-stage startup in a rapid-growth phase. The role may provide a path toward product or commercial leadership, including P&L ownership. The position requires working in person at Jerry.ai’s Palo Alto office five days per week, at least until the employee can operate independently, and alongside the CEO and executive team for at least the first 6–12 months. Jerry.ai hires full-time salaried employees only in specified U.S. states or Ontario, Canada.
Requirements
- Ideally, at least 1 year of experience in a demanding environment such as management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, an early-stage startup, or a similar setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Ability to work in person at the Palo Alto office alongside the CEO and executive team for at least the first 6–12 months.
- Ability to work in the Palo Alto office five days per week, at least until capable of operating independently.
- Must currently reside in an eligible location for full-time salaried employees: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
- Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and master skills or goals.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for fixing problems, including those outside their assigned area.
- Shows resilience and persistence when facing challenges.
- Has a strong bias for action and urgency.
