About The Position

ELLKAY is seeking a Product Manager to own LKOpera’s interoperability products and solutions from concept through launch. The role is responsible for bringing valuable, modern solutions to healthcare customers and supporting business growth. The Product Manager owns the product roadmap in line with strategic themes and budgets, partnering closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and the wider business. The position reports to the Director of Product Management, LKOpera, and works with them to translate company and department strategy into clear roadmaps while supporting Product Owners in breaking requirements into user stories for agile teams. In the first 3–6 months, the Product Manager will assess LKOpera’s conformance and data-quality gaps against two leading competitors, prioritize fixes, ship an AI-assisted capability to pilot customers, improve FHIR coverage and data-quality metrics, establish a rapid-prototype cadence with Engineering, and define requirements for an AI-native interface engine. During months 6–12, the role will own the roadmap, drive predictable delivery, coordinate launches and positioning with Marketing and Sales, and partner with Engineering on capacity planning and phased refactoring to support large hospital systems. Longer term, the Product Manager will be accountable for product profitability and growth and help position the interface engine as a reliable, AI-enabled interoperability platform. The role acts as the voice of the customer, supports customer-facing and internal teams, guides product decisions using research and measurable outcomes, and coordinates product planning, delivery, launches, documentation, and training. ELLKAY describes its workplace as hybrid, with remote work considered for candidates who live more than 40 miles from an office or whose specialized skills and experience strongly align with the role.
