About The Position

The Product Manager, Hand Towels North America is responsible for implementing the Product Strategy and executing tactical plans for a product assortment on a regional basis. Accountable for overseeing the product lifecycle, supporting product strategies, and ensuring successful product launches. The role focuses on launch excellence, product management, and assortment optimization to ensure a competitive and profitable assortment. Working in a matrix organization, the job will collaborate with marketing, sales, innovation, R&D, sourcing, and manufacturing. Additionally, the Product Manager assists in tracking key performance indicators (sales volume, revenues, spending, etc.), analyzing them against forecasts to identify areas where the sales performance of the brand/product/service needs to be improved. This position develops knowledge of the organization's brands, products, services, and customers by working closely with senior Product/Brand Managers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant discipline
  • Minimum Three (3) years of related experience); in a product or related Marketing role
  • Proven Product and or Brand Marketing experience
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams within a matrix organization
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills required
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong utilization of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and TEAMS
  • Relevant (ideally B2B) business understanding
  • Solid, practical communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Professional business acumen

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the product & portfolio strategy to achieve business results
  • Assist in implementing strategic and tactical portfolio plans in line with regional business objectives
  • Support the execution of Life Cycle Management from product launches to end of life in coordination with key departments
  • Support product optimization and development initiatives to execute the product roadmap while ensuring manufacturability, reducing complexity, and driving cost/quality improvements
  • Assist in implementing cost/quality/sustainability improvement projects
  • Participate in innovation projects by providing customer & business input, developing project briefs, and defining value-based pricing attributes
  • Collaborate across the full value chain (E2E from market to R&D) to achieve a competitive, optimized, and profitable assortment that meets strategic aspirations across geographies and channels
  • Understand market needs across geographies and channels and support the implementation of agreed market requests based on approved business cases
  • Capture customer and business insights to help shape the category
  • Assist in developing and aligning launch plans, including defining KPIs
  • Support market execution of product launches and post-launch follow-up.
  • Track and report key performance indicators to ensure the achievement of launch targets
  • Manage the Phase-In, Phase-Out (PIPO) process, coordinating with sales, customer service, product supply, planning, and revenue management
  • Ensure specifications of articles produced/sold comply with legal and regulatory demands
  • Provide regional product support to stakeholders in the full value chain
  • Contribute to business success by analyzing product profitability impact and setting, tracking, and achieving category KPIs.
  • Work with key stakeholders to take appropriate remedial actions
  • Ensure pricing principles are implemented, working collaboratively with markets
