About The Position
Microsoft is hiring Product Managers and Senior Product Managers across multiple Microsoft Security teams in Israel to help build Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE). MDE helps enterprises detect, investigate, and disrupt advanced threats across their endpoint environments. The team works at the intersection of security, AI, product, and engineering, transforming knowledge of attackers, emerging AI risks, customer needs, and the threat landscape into defensive capabilities. The role owns product areas within MDE, develops an understanding of customer and market needs, identifies security opportunities, and partners with engineering, security research, and Sales to deliver customer-centric products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in product, service, project, or program management; software development; or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with engineering teams to define and deliver customer-facing products or capabilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate customer needs and complex technical problems into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Strong AI proficiency, including hands-on experience using AI tools in product development, analysis, or technical workflows.
Nice To Haves
- Experience or strong knowledge in cybersecurity, endpoint security, EDR/XDR, threat detection, incident investigation, or security operations.
- Experience building products for enterprise customers and working directly with customers to understand their needs.
- Strong product thinking, including identifying meaningful customer problems, evaluating tradeoffs, and driving product decisions.
- Experience working across engineering, research, design, data, and other disciplines to deliver complex technical products.
- Experience defining and measuring product success through customer, usage, quality, or business signals.
- Experience designing or improving end-to-end security experiences and workflows.
- Curiosity about attackers, AI technologies, security technologies, and the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Responsibilities
- Own product scenarios end to end, from identifying customer problems and emerging threats through requirements, prioritization, execution, delivery, and measurement.
- Develop a deep understanding of endpoint security, EDR/XDR, security operations, customer workflows, and attacker techniques to inform product strategy and investments.
- Engage directly with customers and partners to understand pain points, validate scenarios, gather feedback, and translate insights into product improvements.
- Partner with engineering, security research, data science, and other product teams to define and deliver high-impact MDE capabilities.
- Translate complex security and customer needs into clear product requirements, scenarios, and priorities.
- Prioritize based on customer impact, security value, technical feasibility, and product strategy.
- Drive alignment across teams and stakeholders, communicate decisions clearly, and move complex initiatives from definition to execution.
- Define success metrics, monitor product performance and customer adoption, and use data and customer feedback to improve the product.
- Track evolving attacker techniques, AI and agentic technologies, security technologies, competitive products, and customer needs to identify opportunities for MDE.
- Use AI effectively in day-to-day product work to accelerate analysis, customer understanding, product definition, and execution.
