About The Position

Microsoft Security aspires to make the world a safer place for all by reshaping security and empowering users, customers, and developers with a security cloud that protects them with end-to-end, simplified solutions. The Trust and Secure Services (TSS) portfolio is crucial for ensuring the integrity of Microsoft's software supply chain, from code to distribution. TSS provides centralized code signing for a verifiable chain of trust, multi-engine malware and vulnerability scanning to enforce policy gates, secure vaulting, and controlled distribution to ensure only validated content is published. Additionally, it handles content protection, licensing, entitlement, activation, and cryptographic enforcement to protect intellectual property. As a Product Manager on the TSS team, you will own features that protect Microsoft's products and services throughout the digital supply chain, requiring strong technical understanding and product management skills to meet business and customer needs. This role involves working with partner teams, leveraging AI for customer insights, performing competitive analysis, assessing product performance with data-driven insights, and influencing data product features. The role demands good communication skills, curiosity, continuous learning in a dynamic product space, and the ability to reduce ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • Experience creating geospatial or mapping products.
  • Experience working with large location-enabled datasets.
  • Experience creating web search features.
  • Experience working with AI technologies, Retrieval Augment Generation systems, AI agents, or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in our product and propose solutions for unmet customer needs.
  • Leverage AI toolsets in support of the New Production Function way of working.
  • Define product features, requirements, and success measures to meet partner and customer data needs.
  • Use data analysis to identify customer needs and gaps in data products.
  • Evangelize supported features with stakeholders to increase partner team usage and adoption of our products.
  • Prioritize features, considering input and providing insights and recommendations aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate options and tradeoffs to different stakeholders to provide accurate information for decision-making.
