About The Position

The Product Manager serves as the technical expert and primary contact for Valmet’s Chemical Pulping product line within the Pulp Energy and Circularity (PEC) portfolio. The role drives proposal development, supports customers, collaborates with sales, engineering, field service, and manufacturing, and contributes to business growth and product development. Responsibilities also include managing inquiries and proposals, supporting troubleshooting, contributing to strategic planning, and helping ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position suited to someone who works well autonomously and values innovation. Travel is required 50–70%, including occasional international trips.

Applicants must be living in the United States and authorized to work there. International relocation is not available. Any employment offer is contingent on a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and control drawings.
• Solid understanding of pulp mill operations.
• Customer-first mindset, strong organizational abilities, and comfort managing shifting priorities.
• Must be living in and authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Background in digester and feedline systems is preferred.
• Overall pulp mill experience is valued.
