About The Position

Runlayer is hiring a Product Manager for Learning & Enablement to own the design, development, and execution of onboarding and enablement. The role begins with the scaling go-to-market team and may expand to company-wide enablement. Its central goal is to reduce ramp time and help new hires become productive through hands-on experience with Runlayer’s product. The onboarding program’s first version includes a structured first week, hands-on labs, certification gates, real product use, and an AI tutor agent that drills new hires, simulates customer objections, and reports on their progress. The Product Manager will run and improve the program, shape AI-powered learning experiences, and keep enablement aligned with changes to the product, team, segments, and positioning. The role works directly with the VP of Go-to-Market and Head of Operations and is accountable for onboarding outcomes, including ramp time.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in enablement, sales, customer success, or another go-to-market role building programs that improve others’ performance.
  • Experience designing onboarding or training programs and understanding how to certify practical skills.
  • Regular use of AI in work and a considered perspective on enablement in an agent-driven environment.
  • A first-principles approach to building programs around the capabilities learners need and an efficient, credible path to develop them.
  • Experience selling, supporting customers, or working closely enough with revenue teams to be credible with the people being enabled.
  • Evidence of pursuing excellence in some area.

Nice To Haves

  • Previously carried a quota before moving into enablement.
  • Experience as an early or first enablement hire who built the function from zero.
  • Experience building or shipping products with AI agents, voice agents, or LLM tooling.
  • Based in New York City or willing to work from the office.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding program end to end, taking new hires from signed offer to certification and readiness to sell, and work to reduce ramp time.
  • Run the onboarding program with each cohort, pressure-test it, and improve it as the product and team grow.
  • Design interactive sessions and shape AI and voice agents that simulate customer calls, test product knowledge, and assess objection handling; calibrate the agents against real cohorts and identify teaching gaps.
  • Ensure onboarding teaches the product through hands-on use, including deploying, breaking, governing, and building with the platform.
  • Provide ongoing field readiness as Runlayer launches products, enters segments, and refines positioning.
  • Own onboarding content, calendar, certification gates, AI agents, and program results.
  • Expand enablement from the go-to-market team toward a company-wide program as Runlayer scales.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Paid vacation and paid sick leave.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Professional development budget for conferences, courses, and certifications in AI, enterprise software, and customer success.
  • Choice of laptop and accessories.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Opportunities to work directly with innovative companies and see the impact of the work.
