Product Manager

Hygiena LLC•Camarillo, CA
•$120,000 - $140,000•Remote

About The Position

Hygiena is seeking a Product Manager (Platform) to turn its portfolio of software applications—including SureTrend, SureKleanz, SureDoc, and SureLab—into a connected system that customers experience as a single product. The role owns the platform roadmap end to end, covering unified sign-in, cross-app navigation, shared data and combined reporting, in-app cross-selling, and integrations with CRM, ERP, and billing systems. The Product Manager combines UI/UX judgment with an understanding of how accounts, data, and systems work together. Working with Engineering, UX, other product managers, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success, the role makes separately built applications feel consistent and connected. Success is measured by customer adoption, cross-app usage, and cross-sell revenue. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role, preferably based in Southern California. It follows standard Monday-to-Friday business hours, with flexibility for global coordination and urgent customer or partner needs. Occasional travel to Camarillo, California and other travel for customer engagements, trade shows, and team meetings is expected; estimated travel is less than 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS software, including at least 2 years owning capabilities shared across multiple applications.
  • Demonstrated experience connecting multiple applications into a single customer-facing system, including single sign-on, shared navigation, and cross-app workflows.
  • Strong UI/UX skills, with examples of experiences shaped—such as navigation, onboarding, or account switching—and evidence of improved usability or adoption.
  • Experience using AI tools, including large language models or AI-assisted prototyping and design tools, to accelerate product work such as research, prototyping, UX design, requirements definition, and documentation, with sound judgment regarding accuracy, data privacy, and compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access concepts, including single sign-on, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity providers, multi-tenant account structures, roles, and entitlements.
  • Experience shipping products against enterprise security and procurement requirements, such as SSO, security reviews, SOC 2-style controls, and audit trails.
  • Experience defining shared data models and API or event contracts between systems; ability to read API specifications and work with engineers on integration design.
  • Experience integrating software products with commercial systems, including CRM, ERP such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central, and billing platforms such as Stripe, covering customer, plan, entitlement, and invoicing data flows.
  • Experience with product-led growth, including in-app upsell or cross-sell, experimentation, and conversion metrics.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Strong product sense and customer empathy; able to identify how to simplify a clunky experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using product analytics and data to size opportunities and measure adoption and conversion.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear PRDs, integration requirements, product briefs, and release communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal communication and executive presence, with comfort presenting to engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence peer product managers and align teams on shared standards and priorities without direct authority.
  • Sound judgment balancing platform investment with near-term product and commercial priorities.
  • Ability to lead multiple workstreams with competing timelines in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Collaborative, customer-first leadership, strong ownership, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the platform product roadmap and revenue objectives, prioritizing cross-app capabilities by customer value, revenue impact, technical feasibility, and product-line needs.

  • Define shared data models and integration requirements, including common customer, site, and user identities, roles, entitlements, APIs, and events to enable combined reporting and cross-app workflows.
  • Own in-app cross-selling between products, including identifying customer needs, defining prompts and offers with Marketing, routing leads to account owners, and running experiments to improve conversion.
  • Own integrations between the applications and Hygiena’s commercial systems, including CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP, and Stripe billing, to support accurate customer and plan data and timely, correct invoicing.
  • Lead phased separation of applications from shared legacy architecture into standalone products, planning migrations that avoid disruption to customers’ workflows.
  • Partner with Engineering in Azure DevOps on backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release coordination across platform workstreams.
