About The Position

Raft is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join their team. This role involves supporting U.S. military and government agencies with AI/ML and data solutions, focusing on autonomous data fusion, Agentic AI, Distributed Data Systems, Platforms at Scale, and Complex Application Development. The position requires a customer-obsessed individual to help build and shape a game-changing organization. The Technical Product Manager will collaborate with DoD partners and Technical Leads to design and execute Kubernetes or Docker solutions, scope and prioritize activities based on a product roadmap, and oversee the application of GitOps principles for software delivery. This role also involves acting as a product evangelist, building awareness, and maximizing mission impact. The position functions 50% of the time in a Product Management capacity and 50% assisting with solution architecting for RFI and RFP responses.

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on product development / product management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of computer science and software development lifecycles, including a working knowledge of programming
An "Agilista" who ensures all contractual deliverables are executed accurately and on time
Product roadmapping skills
Cloud services knowledge and experience
GitOps experience
Jira experience
Written and oral technical approach experience
U.S. citizenship
All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.

Proven track record managing favorable profit and loss
AWS knowledge and experience
Agile certification(s)
Experience working in a software factory environment
Experience with ATO and RMF processes

Responsibilities

Tagging up with DoD partners and Technical Leads to design and execute bespoke Kubernetes or Docker solutions tailored for DoD mission environments.
Scoping and prioritizing activities based on the product roadmap.
Overseeing the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.
Keeping pace with concurrent DoD software development efforts that will impact delivery.
Meeting in-person with key stakeholders to act as a product evangelist, building awareness and maximizing mission impact.
Serving as the Raft representative to the client, capturing their hard work and candid feedback from both sides.
Driving repeat and increased business with DoD clients.
Assisting with solution architecting for RFI and RFP responses.
