Product Manager

Fundbox•,
•$150,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Fundbox is seeking a Product Manager to help build and scale embedded working-capital products for small businesses. The role drives product launches and features that support Fundbox’s growth, working closely with engineering, marketing, credit, design, business development, data, and legal/compliance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. The Product Manager owns partner-launch roadmaps and builds embedded capital products from 0 to 1, then scales them across partner ecosystems. The role shapes the full product experience—including user experience, underwriting, operations, marketing, and compliance—so products serve customers and meet institutional requirements. It also involves sizing opportunities, developing business cases, making go/no-go recommendations, representing Fundbox’s credit and product offerings in partner discussions, researching markets and competitors, and representing customer and partner needs in product decisions. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship. The position’s stated base salary range for New York City is $150,000–$200,000; compensation is based on relevant skills, experience, education, or training and excludes bonuses, equity, and benefits.

  • At least 4 years of product management or adjacent product-building experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a highly analytical product area.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating on complex cross-functional initiatives with engineering, data science, marketing, and compliance teams.
  • Curiosity and ability to solve complex problems, ramp up quickly in new domains, and continuously improve team practices.
  • Passion for data-driven decisions, including comfort pulling and joining large datasets with SQL and performing analysis using tools such as Python and Tableau.
  • Fluency with modern AI-assisted and prototyping tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, and Figma, or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights and recommendations succinctly to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
