Requirements

3+ years in product management, with experience owning products in warehouse operations or a related operational domain.
Proven track record of shipping software used by operational teams, not just customer-facing features.
Comfort with operational and financial metrics, including the ability to model throughput and cost, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with both engineers and warehouse teams.
A hands-on approach to understanding processes, preferring direct observation over assumptions.
Sound judgment in prioritization and making trade-offs in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
Enthusiasm for leveraging the latest technology, including hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude for efficiency.
Comfort with SQL or a willingness to learn it for data analysis.

Nice To Haves

Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, retail, or resale/recommerce.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, or returns processes.
Exposure to physical operations with high SKU variability or unique inventory items.

Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap for logistics and operations systems, including intake, quality control, refurbishment, inspection, inventory, and warehouse workflows.
Observe and understand operational processes by spending time with the operations team and walking the warehouse, translating observations into a prioritized backlog of problems to solve.
Define and measure key metrics such as processing time per unit, cost to fulfill, inventory accuracy, throughput, and listing quality to guide product decisions.
Partner with engineering to scope, sequence, and ship product improvements, writing clear specifications, making trade-offs, and maintaining quality.
Collaborate with operations, fulfillment, merchandising, and finance teams to align product investments with business goals and capacity.
Improve daily operator tools to reduce manual steps, error rates, and training time, enabling scalable growth without a linear increase in headcount.
