About The Position

QuinStreet’s Modernize Home Services is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support strategic initiatives and accelerate the roadmap for 360Finance, a platform that enables contractors to offer point-of-sale financing to homeowners and helps homeowners obtain funding as they evaluate contractors and plan projects. The role focuses on shaping the platform’s capabilities, reach, and impact for contractors, serving as a bridge between contractor and lender experiences, product management, engineering, and operations. The Product Manager will build a contractor-experience roadmap from the ground up, using product discovery, testing, competitive research, and market insights to establish actionable priorities and drive platform growth. The role combines product vision with hands-on execution across the contractor journey, from onboarding through financing and document signing. It also includes experimentation, AI-enabled workflow automation and prototyping, analytics instrumentation and dashboards, and communication of results and tradeoffs to stakeholders and executives.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of product management experience, including managing multiple products or features simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience improving weak or underdeveloped UX by diagnosing root causes, prioritizing fixes, and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Expertise in building roadmaps and turning ambiguous, multi-layered problems into clear, actionable priorities.
  • Strong competitive and market research capabilities and fluency with both consumer and business/customer sides of a product.
  • Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and data-driven experiments.
  • Experience building analytics instrumentation and dashboards from scratch, using Heap or a similar tool, in a low-visibility environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, including comfort making decisions with imperfect data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to align and activate cross-functional teams and articulate roadmap strategy, progress, and tradeoffs.
  • Confidence speaking directly with contractor clients about product performance and its business impact.
  • Experience in agile or fast-paced environments and judgment to balance execution speed with product quality.
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools for building AI-powered product features and creating automation workflows that improve day-to-day productivity.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, acts proactively, and manages up effectively with leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, lending, or financing products.
  • Experience in home services, contractor-facing platforms, or B2B marketplace products.
  • Proficiency with product analytics tools such as Heap and Growthbook.
  • Hands-on experience creating PRDs and technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Claude AI or similar tools for rapid prototyping and product validation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the 360Finance contractor-experience roadmap, translating company objectives such as increasing documents signed and contractor adoption into KPI-driven priorities.
  • Research the financing market and competitors across contractor and lender audiences.
  • Define success metrics for contractor engagement and hold the team accountable to outcomes.
  • Lead product initiatives across the contractor journey, from onboarding through point-of-sale financing and document signing.
  • Create comprehensive PRDs covering requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical needs for engineering execution.
  • Partner with product, engineering, design, and account management to deliver product improvements reliably and on time.
  • Improve contractor adoption and product stickiness by identifying and removing UX friction and bugs, and by speaking directly with contractor clients about product performance and their business goals.
  • Design and conduct A/B tests and controlled experiments; analyze results to decide what to scale, optimize, or discontinue.
  • Use an agile ship-and-learn approach while maintaining product quality and redirecting underperforming experiments when needed.
  • Use AI tools and platforms to automate contractor-experience and operational workflows, and to prototype and test product concepts.
  • Establish and own Heap metrics and engagement dashboards for the contractor experience, providing business stakeholders with regular visibility into product performance and impact.
  • Use data to prioritize the roadmap and identify where UX issues are affecting documents signed.
  • Report results and insights to stakeholders and provide clear, actionable next steps.
  • Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, and client experience, aligning stakeholders and driving change despite competing priorities.
  • Communicate roadmap strategy, progress, and tradeoffs to executives and stakeholders.
  • Remove blockers and organize complex workflows, timelines, and dependencies to keep teams aligned and progressing.
