This Product Manager combines technical understanding of emergency power systems with strong commercial acumen to define product strategy, guide development priorities, and drive profitable growth across multiple channel and market segments. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product management, marketing, or business development within the power distribution or automation industry.
  • Good understanding of backup power systems and power distribution automation software and services.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans through direct customer engagement, VOC, and data analysis.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience building business cases, managing portfolio profitability, and supporting pricing and investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and execute the strategic roadmap for the Transfer Switch offerings, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
  • Manage the 4Ps of marketing (product, price, place, and promotion) to effectively position and promote Transfer Switch offerings in the market, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Drive the development of a comprehensive Transfer Switch portfolio while ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams including offer management, order engineering, sales, digital technologies and marketing communications to ensure successful lifecycle management of related offers and solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Schneider business units to ensure they are enabled and empowered to use Transfer Switch offers in their business.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify market opportunities.
  • Define value propositions and differentiate our Transfer Switch offerings in the marketplace.
  • Ensure the product roadmap and portfolio strategy are aligned with current and emerging industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements by partnering closely with engineering, compliance, and codes & standards teams.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop assets for training, education and digital support via the website to enable successful commercialization and sales of Transfer Switches.
