About The Position

The Product Manager Senior will be responsible for the development of products in both new and existing markets. CarelonRx pairs a strong, clinical-first lens with deep pharmacy expertise to create solutions that improve outcomes, control costs, and enhance each member’s health. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Health or managed care experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience strongly preferred.
  • Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing financial models, requirements, roadmaps, and concept materials is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates existing products and competitor and industry data to improve existing products and make recommendations for new products.
  • Develops and implements long term profitability strategies for market segment including market positioning, new product design pricing parameters, risk profiles, and legislative/regulatory responses.
  • Coordinates presentation, communication and implementation of all phases of product development.
  • Ensures all products are compliant with regulatory directives and state/federal laws and policies.
  • Serves as a product expert and a relationship manager to the core clients.
  • Partners cross-functionally to develop GTM materials (FAQs, talking points, product blurbs, etc.) to enable Sales and Account teams, delivering on timelines and meeting/exceeding expectations.
