RGM Product Manager, AI Engineering

The Coca-Cola Company•Atlanta, GA
•$202,000 - $229,000

About The Position

The Product Manager, RGM owns the what and why of Coca-Cola’s Global Revenue Growth Management product: the problems it solves, the users it serves, the order in which capabilities are developed, and how success is measured. Working in a persistent cross-functional team with Data Science, Engineering, UX, Architecture, and RGM experts, the role translates commercial needs into product direction and requirements while Engineering owns implementation. The role conducts discovery with RGM teams at operating units and bottlers to understand pricing, promotion, and portfolio workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. It spans product strategy and delivery, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, release success measures, and business sign-off. The Product Manager is expected to understand the product’s commercial outputs, such as elasticities, uplift against baseline, and share math, and to ensure recommendations are credible and useful to users. The Product Manager supports the full product lifecycle, from discovery and pilot design through launch, adoption measurement, and continuous improvement. The role helps establish the product discipline and operating model for agentic RGM at global scale, across Coca-Cola’s markets and bottling partners. It includes global collaboration across time zones, availability outside standard business hours, and travel to markets. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States without requiring company sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience, including a strong product-management track record with digital, data, or analytics products and hands-on pricing and promotion experience at a CPG company, bottler, or retailer.
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Growth Management across pricing, promotion, assortment, and mix, as well as commercial analytics and value-creation drivers.
  • Working knowledge of global RGM practices across headline pricing, price-pack architecture, trade promotion optimization, assortment, mix management, and trade terms and margin management.
  • Understanding of bottler go-to-market models, including direct store delivery, distributors, and wholesalers; channel and outlet segmentation; and how pricing and promotion decisions flow through bottler P&Ls to point-of-sale execution.
  • Ability to interpret elasticities, uplift against baseline, and share math, and explain both the limitations and conclusions of those measures.
  • Experience taking digital or analytics products from discovery through launch and adoption in a matrixed, franchise environment, including stakeholder mapping, launch planning, embedding new ways of working, and influencing without authority.
  • Ability to write concise one-pagers and communicate an insight story from analyst level through leadership.
  • Demonstrated product-management skills, including framing problems and outcomes, writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, owning and prioritizing a backlog, and working with Engineering through agile delivery ceremonies.
  • Experience owning product vision and roadmap end to end, translating business needs into capabilities, setting strategy, sequencing by value, declining competing requests, and defending trade-offs to senior leadership.
  • Fluency in product discovery techniques such as user interviews, journey mapping, prototyping, and assumption testing.
  • Experience defining and tracking product success metrics, including adoption, engagement, retention, and commercial outcomes, and using them to inform roadmap and investment decisions.
  • Experience managing data, analytics, or AI/ML products, including collaboration with data scientists on model requirements, evaluation criteria, and release readiness for non-deterministic outputs.
  • Product leadership experience setting a vision, aligning Engineering, Data Science, UX, and business stakeholders, and establishing product culture, standards, and practices.
  • Experience mapping workflows end to end, documenting current processes, designing future-state processes around a product, and identifying handoffs, bottlenecks, and decision points.
  • Willingness to challenge model outputs when evidence indicates they are wrong and to support model recommendations to skeptical users with data.
  • Strong pilot design and test-and-learn skills, including hypothesis framing, control groups, and incrementality measurement.
  • Technical fluency to engage engineers and architects on APIs, data pipelines, and platform trade-offs; hands-on comfort with Power BI and RGM Pricing, Promotion, and Portfolio applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require Coca-Cola Company sponsorship to continue working legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or strategy practice of a leading professional services firm, particularly on digital product, pricing, or revenue management engagements with CPG or retail clients.
  • Experience coaching or leading other product managers.
  • Basic SQL skills sufficient to pull and validate numbers.
  • Product-management or agile certification, such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or Pragmatic Institute.
  • Practical experience using LLM-based tools for real work, with an understanding of where they fail.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Global RGM suite; set outcome-based goals, define problems to solve, sequence capabilities by commercial value, and present the roadmap and delivered value to operating-unit leadership and bottler executives.
  • Conduct continuous discovery with RGM users, including observing pricing workflows, to identify where the product creates value and where it falls short.
  • Translate user discovery into clear written requirements, problem statements, examples, and acceptance criteria, and retest with users after fixes ship.
  • Write user stories for Engineering and represent operating-unit and bottler needs in prioritization and roadmap decisions with the Global RGM Product Owner.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog against commercial value, sequence competing requests, and defend prioritization decisions to senior stakeholders.
  • Define release success measures, participate in backlog refinement and sprint reviews, and provide business sign-off that shipped functionality meets market needs.
  • Protect product credibility by identifying recommendations that would not withstand scrutiny from bottlers before they are presented.
  • Embed the closed-loop RGM workflow in the product, including insight generation and opportunity sizing, strategy setting, guardrail definition, in-market execution, and post-implementation evaluation.
  • Design product capabilities that enforce RGM governance, including price floors and ceilings, discount depth and promotion frequency, and price-gap and price-index thresholds.
  • Support pilot design and test-and-learn practices with market teams, including hypothesis framing, control groups, and incrementality measurement.
  • Define evaluation criteria and quality standards for AI-generated recommendations with AI Engineering and Data Science; determine when human review is needed and flag outputs unsupported by underlying data.
  • Partner with UX on the end-to-end user experience, launch communications, and demonstration materials.
  • Build business cases for significant capability requests by sizing commercial opportunity, weighing effort and alternatives, and determining what is worth building.
  • Lead releases through launch planning, capability building, and concise user playbooks to drive adoption and enable independent product use.
  • Track adoption by market, including who uses the product, how it is used, and where usage stalls; report measured results and feed adoption issues into the backlog.
  • Work across time zones, including early and late calls and availability outside standard business hours, and travel to markets as required.
