About The Position

Join a fast-growing, innovative Software Product Management team at Trackunit, a global industry leader. This role is crucial in building the future of Trackunit’s connected ecosystem, focusing on products that integrate people, data, and machines to advance the construction industry. As a Product Manager, you will be customer-centric, guiding software products from conception through launch by bridging customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives. You will tackle complex challenges, breaking them down into actionable steps to drive product development with clear outcomes. This specific area focuses on the daily operations of depot teams, ensuring equipment is efficiently managed, prepared, and accounted for. This is a unique opportunity to shape a product experience from the ground up, purpose-built for this user persona. You will own the roadmap and priorities for managing equipment flow, collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver significant product value. We seek a candidate who thrives in dynamic environments, brings clarity to change, and fosters alignment across diverse teams, with a passion for creating impactful products in a global SaaS company.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in product management craft with experience taking a product from zero to one, defining scope and direction in an ambiguous space.
  • Skilled at getting close to users through direct discovery and translating learnings into clear product direction.
  • Experience working with data-heavy products and translating machine and operational data into actionable decisions.
  • Experience thinking and building AI-first, evaluating AI capabilities for reducing friction.
  • Shipped or closely partnered on AI-powered product features.
  • Great structuring and analytical skills with the ability to implement strategic product plans.
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude.
  • Effective communicator skilled in asynchronous work and across time zones.
  • Experienced in the full product lifecycle: backlog refinement, sprint execution, coordinating with go-to-market teams.
  • Adept at navigating trade-offs, bringing cross-functional clarity, and moving work forward.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to define and measure progress with data and feedback loops.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic.
  • Focus on delivering impact, not just output, and owning what you build.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI capabilities as a default design tool.
  • Ability to have substantive conversations with engineers about AI feasibility.

Responsibilities

  • Own the direction for this area: Define what gets built and why, so that depot teams can rely on clear data and workflows to keep equipment moving in and out smoothly.
  • Drive end-to-end product execution: Own the build process from backlog refinement to release, working closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead go-to-market efforts: Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure launches are aligned, well-orchestrated, and supported by clear enablement.
  • Create clarity across functions: Align teams on scope, trade-offs, and timelines, especially where regional context, dependencies, or ambiguity exist.
  • Build effective async collaboration: Communicate clearly across time zones and stakeholders, using structured, proactive updates to keep momentum.
  • Shape how we work: Contribute to evolving product practices, frameworks, and rituals, rather than just following what exists.

Benefits

  • Possibility to work from dedicated offices and remotely in a flexible capacity.
  • Support for personal and professional development goals through training, coaching, and mindfulness.
  • Open feedback culture.
  • Flexible setup for structuring work routines.
  • IT equipment provided for work.
