About The Position

Hippo is seeking a results-driven Product Manager to lead Marketing Enablement and Acquisition within the Growth Organization. This role is crucial for managing the tooling that empowers the marketing team to execute campaigns across various channels such as paid search, social, partnerships, and direct mail. The Product Manager will be responsible for the underlying infrastructure and the acquisition surfaces it supports, acting as the product counterpart to the growth marketing team. This involves a dual focus on platform product management and funnel product management, with the ability to determine whether solutions should be implemented through tooling or custom builds.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product management, with significant experience in martech, growth platforms, or marketing-adjacent internal tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CDPs (Segment, mParticle), tag managers (GTM, Tealium), marketing automation (Braze, Iterable, Marketo), and paid platform integrations.
  • Deep understanding of digital measurement, including cookie deprecation, iOS restrictions, consent management, server-side tracking, and associated tradeoffs.
  • Strong analytical instincts, comfortable defining metrics, building measurement plans, and using data to tell a story.
  • Ability to work with Legal and Compliance on privacy requirements, treating them as design constraints.
  • Customer empathy, with a track record of conducting customer research and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Design sensibility, with a strong eye for good UX and the ability to articulate design choices.
  • End-to-end product experience, ideally with a consumer-facing digital product with a multi-step user journey.
  • Experimentation fluency, including designing valid A/B tests, interpreting results, and integrating testing into processes.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to write and speak with precision and translate complex strategies for various audiences.
  • High agency, taking ownership of problems and moving forward without waiting for perfect information.
  • Collaborative spirit, earning trust through work and supporting team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance or fintech experience, understanding regulated industries and the importance of trust in financial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the martech stack as a product, including CDP, tag management, consent and privacy tooling, and marketing automation, plus the integrations connecting them.
  • Build self-serve tools for marketers to launch, configure, and personalize campaigns without engineering support, such as page composition, audience building, and dynamic content.
  • Own the tracking and conversion signal layer end-to-end, defining an event taxonomy that powers analytics, attribution, and channel bidding.
  • Own the landing page and quote-entry experience, building channel-specific templates with paid and SEO to ensure message continuity from ad creative to quote.
  • Design and run experiments, identifying opportunities, sequencing A/B tests, and translating results into product decisions.
  • Own attribution and acquisition reporting in collaboration with data and finance teams, including multi-touch modeling, incrementality testing, and reconciling platform-reported numbers.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by conducting frequent customer interviews and analyzing CSAT and NPS data to surface insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-market for product changes through tooling, process improvements, and automation.
  • Drive a data-informed roadmap by defining success metrics tied to business outcomes and using analytics tools to uncover behavioral insights and inform prioritization.
  • Translate insights into requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to deliver solutions.
  • Establish a strong operating cadence, including prioritization frameworks, stakeholder alignment, launch readiness, training/communications, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with design and engineering, contribute a clear point of view, and communicate roadmap decisions and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
