This role is for a Product Marketing Manager focused on internal acquisition, sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer experience. The position involves shaping how trading platforms, investment tools, and wealth-building products are brought to market for Canadian investors. The ideal candidate will be strategically minded, customer-obsessed, and passionate about making investing accessible. Responsibilities include owning product positioning and messaging, influencing the product roadmap with market insights, leading go-to-market strategies, informing pricing and packaging, and translating customer insights into compelling narratives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or consumer technology
  • Proven track record of launching products that drive adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Strategic thinker who can translate complex financial products into compelling customer narratives
  • Deeply customer-centric—engages with customers regularly and translates those insights into positioning that resonates across segments
  • Takes pride in being the voice of the customer when they're not in the room, advocating for user needs in product and strategy discussions
  • Exceptional project management skills and can lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders to hit ambitious deadlines
  • Metrics-driven—defines KPIs, creates measurement frameworks, and uses data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact
  • Excels in fast-paced environments, has a bias for action, and demonstrates strong ownership of outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and prioritization for brokerage products.
  • Collaborating closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to align product strategy with market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and customer needs across investor segments from active traders to passive portfolio builders.
  • Developing and owning end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new trading features, platform enhancements, and investment product launches.
  • Validating that launches are grounded in customer research and tied to measurable business outcomes including adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Creating differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks that articulate product value across the customer journey.
  • Translating complex financial products and trading capabilities into clear, benefit-focused messaging that respects customer sophistication and avoids industry jargon.
  • Leading research initiatives including customer interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand investor behaviors, pain points, and unmet needs.
  • Translating insights into actionable recommendations for product strategy, messaging refinement, and market positioning.
  • Partnering with Product, Growth Marketing, Brand, Sales, Customer Experience, Compliance and other teams to create cohesive customer experiences.
  • Acting as the central hub connecting customer insights, product capabilities, and marketing execution.
  • Collaborating with Lifecycle Marketing to develop customer journey strategies that drive activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Providing product insights and messaging frameworks that inform onboarding experiences, feature adoption campaigns, and customer education programs across lifecycle stages.
  • Defining success metrics for product launches and marketing initiatives.
  • Partnering with Analytics team to track adoption, engagement, and customer feedback, using data to continuously optimize positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approaches.
