About The Position

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking a Product Manager to manage product development for the Devices, Books, and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) legal teams. This role involves working with builders and subject matter experts to drive innovative legal technology products. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with internal legal customers and engineering teams to define, build, and deliver solutions that enable lawyers and legal professionals to provide trusted counsel efficiently. A key aspect of this role is defining how Amazon's legal organization and its business partners leverage AI capabilities for smarter, faster, and more effective work. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of product management, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills, working in an agile environment to translate complex legal and business needs into actionable product requirements. This role requires an inquisitive and enthusiastic individual, energized by building transformative tools from the ground up, with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Requirements

  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
  • 3+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for legal technology solutions that serve the Devices & Services, Alexa, Books, and AGI legal teams and their business partners.
  • Write detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for features on the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with builders, software development managers, and engineers to plan and execute projects using agile methodologies, ensuring on-time delivery of roadmap commitments.
  • Partner with a diverse set of customers to identify pain points, gather requirements, and prioritize features that align with the product vision.
  • Drive consensus and buy-in for product strategy across partner teams through collaboration, communication, and negotiation that effectively influences peers, stakeholders, and senior leaders.
  • Lead product launches including documentation, training, communication, and adoption strategies to ensure new solutions deliver meaningful impact.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into legal workflows, simplifying processes and scaling the impact of legal teams.
