About The Position

The Product Manager, Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) will serve as the subject matter expert for assigned LAKA products, offering strategic and operational guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This role involves applying product management expertise to solve complex business problems, selecting appropriate methods, and directing delivery teams. The primary focus is on supporting LAKA product strategy, execution, and growth. The position is a 14-month fixed-term role based in Etobicoke, with a hybrid work model allowing for both in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The role reports to the Director, Product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of product management experience managing multiple products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience delivering products within payment systems or merchant acquiring environments.
  • Experience leading strategic planning initiatives, including project lifecycle, portfolio management, compliance, and change management efforts.
  • Experience building and maintaining product roadmaps and requirements artifacts.
  • Experience communicating progress and delivery plans to peers, clients, and leaders.
  • Experience applying recognized product management frameworks, tools, and techniques in real-world delivery environments.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) products, providing strategic and operational guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Apply product management expertise to address complex business problems, select appropriate methods, and guide delivery teams.
  • Support LAKA product strategy, execution, and growth.
  • Operate independently, seeking guidance only for the most complex matters.
  • Maximize value delivered by ensuring the product backlog is aligned to customer, business, and regulatory needs.
  • Lead complex product delivery initiatives or portfolios in support of business objectives.
  • Contribute to product strategy development and ensure alignment of assigned portfolios with enterprise and product strategies.
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps spanning 3 to 18 months for an assigned portfolio.
  • Establish and manage a continuous feedback loop to inspect and adapt products through frequent increments, incorporating input from clients, sales, technology, and operations, including trials and pilots.
  • Partner with internal teams to prioritize remediation, readiness, and market-fit requirements prior to commercial launch.
  • Develop solutions to address market opportunities, gaps, and requirements; collaborate with Technology on solution design; and build business cases to support prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Own a portfolio of products across the full lifecycle, from ideation through delivery and deployment, delivering incremental value aligned to release plans and outcome-based roadmaps.
  • Deliver products within approved scope, budget, and specifications, supporting defined benefits and Objective and Key Result (OKR) targets.
  • Be accountable for portfolio outcomes including revenue contribution, product costs, customer satisfaction, adoption and usage, and innovation throughput.
  • Prioritize product requirements based on resource constraints, customer impact, and revenue opportunities to support corporate priorities.
  • Maintain transparent communication with product teams and foster effective collaboration with internal partners to support product readiness, roadmap execution, and launches.
