About The Position

The Product Manager is responsible for supporting both strategic and tactical activities for Culligan’s residential (household) product portfolio to maximize sales revenues, market share, and profit margins. This position will be responsible for supporting current product line management activities and will also help to execute a long-range product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Engineering or Business major preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Product Development, Engineering or similar roles.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, training and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the water treatment industry a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day performance and lifecycle of assigned household product lines, including sales trends, margin, pricing, field feedback, quality inputs, and competitive activity to identify needed actions.
  • Act as Household product lead for sustaining projects, including supplier transitions, service improvements, documentation updates and cost reduction activities.
  • Partner cross functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, regulatory, technical services, sales, and customer service to ensure product lines continue to meet customer and business objectives.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions to improve growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support execution of 3-year product roadmap as product owner for assigned new product development projects.
  • Leverage voice of customer research, dealer feedback and market insights to inform new product development decisions.
  • Lead product definition activities including customer requirements, value propositions, feature prioritization, and business justification.
  • Support national product launches and commercialization activities.
  • Monitor product performance following launch and implement corrective actions or enhancements as needed.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers, Regional Technical Advisors and New Product Task Force teams to address product requests, field issues and opportunities.
  • Partner with Learning and Development team on new product training.
  • Participate in dealer visits, field trials, and customer engagements to gather feedback and strengthen product and market knowledge.
