Product Manager - Healthcare

About The Position

The Healthcare Product Manager is the anchor of the product trio — the person who owns the problem. Not the solution, the backlog, or the sprint: the problem. This is not a project management role. It is a role for someone comfortable with ambiguity, driven by curiosity about customers and users, and capable of forming and testing hypotheses about what will create value. This role does not own program timelines — that belongs with the GMs. It does not run integration certification — that belongs in Engineering.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of product management experience; discovery-led, outcome-oriented work strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to run customer and user research; comfort forming and testing hypotheses
  • Experience with SaaS products in institutional, campus, healthcare, or enterprise environments preferred
  • Genuine curiosity about how great products get built is non-negotiable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Silicon Valley Product Group principles

Responsibilities

  • Continuously engage with customers and users to build a deep, current understanding of the problem space
  • Form clear hypotheses about what solutions will create value and design lightweight experiments to test them
  • Work with the Interaction Designer and Engineering lead to prototype, test, and iterate toward solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
  • Translate the squad's quarterly objective into a backlog that reflects the team's current best understanding of how to achieve it
  • Make prioritization decisions grounded in evidence — usage data, customer research, outcome metrics — not stakeholder volume or recency
  • Define the key results that indicate whether the squad's objective has been achieved; track and communicate progress honestly
  • Build and maintain the feedback loops — usage instrumentation, adoption metrics, customer signals — that tell the team whether what shipped is working
  • Partner with the APM to ensure delivery runs smoothly without pulling PM attention from discovery
  • Represent the squad's work and rationale to stakeholders — communicating outcomes and strategy, not just status
  • Partner with Product Marketing on launch readiness and positioning
