About The Position

Are you driven by data, measurable results, and continuous improvement? Do you excel in high-performance environments where speed, accountability, and innovation define success? If you're ready to shape the future of ecommerce technology, Cymax Group Technologies wants you on our team. At Cymax Group Technologies, we enable leading brands and retailers to compete and win in the digital marketplace through advanced technology, data-driven insights, and optimized logistics. We are a tech-enabled brand accelerator operating in home, lifestyle, and adjacent categories. Our proprietary platforms—Channel Gate and Freight Club—combine automation, AI, and more than two decades of ecommerce expertise to streamline multi-channel selling, increase operational efficiency, and drive scalable growth. We support hundreds of partners across North America, helping them navigate and outperform within complex marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, and others. Our focus is simple: deliver performance, remove friction, and create sustainable competitive advantage for our partners. Recognized as one of Canada's fastest-growing technology companies, Cymax Group fosters a high-performance culture built on grit, agility, and accountability—where we take ownership, use data to drive clear decisions, think strategically while executing with precision, and consistently raise the bar to deliver results today that position us for tomorrow. The Role We are seeking a Product Manager to own and drive a critical area of Cymax Group's product portfolio—one that increasingly leverages AI and automation to create competitive advantage. This role is first and foremost a product leadership role: you will set strategy, define roadmaps, align stakeholders, and ship products that move the business. The domain happens to be rich with AI opportunity, and comfort working alongside data science and engineering teams is essential—but strong product instincts, customer empathy, and commercial acumen are what will set you apart. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, user needs, and technical capability, turning complex problems into well-scoped product bets, and well-scoped bets into shipped, adopted solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Management, with a track record of shipping and scaling products in production environments
  • Strong product instincts: you know how to run discovery, scope an MVP, and iterate based on evidence
  • Commercially minded—you tie product decisions directly to revenue or efficiency outcomes, not just feature delivery
  • Experienced working closely with engineering and data teams; you know enough about ML and AI to be an effective partner without needing to be the expert
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity and competing stakeholder priorities
  • Experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, retail, supply chain, or analytics-driven businesses preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience shipping AI/ML-powered products in a commercial environment
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference)
  • Experience with personalization, dynamic pricing, or recommendation systems
  • Prior experience building a product area from 0→1

Responsibilities

  • Define a multi-quarter product roadmap aligned with company growth objectives, prioritized by customer impact and business value
  • Identify opportunities across pricing, merchandising, logistics, personalization, supply chain, demand forecasting, content, customer support, and B2B enablement
  • Make clear prioritization decisions, communicate trade-offs, and build stakeholder alignment around what we build—and what we don't
  • Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, validation, roadmap, build, launch, and iteration
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into crisp, well-defined requirements that engineering and data science teams can act on
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to deliver production-grade solutions
  • Hold the bar on quality—ensuring products are measurable, maintainable, and actually adopted
  • Define KPIs before development begins and track them rigorously post-launch (revenue lift, margin improvement, conversion, cost reduction, automation efficiency)
  • Build and pressure-test business cases to ensure we're investing in the highest-leverage bets
  • Ensure solutions are embedded into real workflows, not shipped as features that collect dust
  • Act as the connective tissue between technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Communicate complex product and technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language
  • Influence roadmap prioritization at the leadership level and bring teams along on the why
  • Partner with data science to scope, validate, and productize AI-driven capabilities—including generative AI, automation, and agentic workflows
  • Ensure AI features include appropriate human-in-the-loop design, feedback mechanisms, and trust frameworks
  • Establish practices for model evaluation, monitoring, bias mitigation, and responsible deployment

Benefits

  • Health and dental benefits
  • Paid time off
  • Employee assistance program with online and phone-based counselling
  • Hybrid-first flexible work environment
