About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of the free experience bundled with “Works with Nexa ”, including integration of devices into Nexa. In this role, you will shape how thousands of customers first experience Nexa—and how they grow with it over time. You’ll own the end-to-end journey from first-time setup to daily engagement, translating connected equipment into an intuitive, experience customers genuinely rely on. Success means customers go from “installed” to activated, from “connected” to confident—and from the free experience to the paid tier through simple onboarding, clear value moments, and a thoughtful upgrade path that makes deeper capability feel like the natural next step.

Requirements

  • Mentality: start-up leader, solutions and value -driven, agile / can-do, creative, forward-thinking / disruptive
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution
  • 7 + years of relevant experience building products across spaces, ideally with some of that in B2B
  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
  • Experience launching and growing multiple consumer / business-facing software products
  • Excellent sense of functional interface design with experience working with designers
  • Experience with agile software development
  • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and roadmap for the ‘works with Nexa’ device integrations
  • Partner with internal Watts teams to articulate the additional value Nexa adds to ‘works with Nexa’ devices , driving adoption of Nexa for these products
  • Act as the voice of the “customer” across target verticals, with a deep understanding of user personas, pain points, value at stake, and journeys
  • Identify product and technology that need to be incorporated into the Nexa Equipment product roadmap
  • Work with a cross - functional team within Watts Digital and across Watts to define requirements and design features with the goal of securing product market fit and growth
  • Drive both equipment connectivity to Nexa as well as drive customers to upgrade to the paid version of the Nexa platform
  • Ensure the right quality and speed of execution together with software engineering
  • Use Product Lead Growth methodologies to increase the growth of Nexa
  • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing
  • Effectively prioritize and define product features so that Engineering, and others, can collaboratively design and execute
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to scope, design, concept test, and deliver innovative solutions
  • Continuously rebalance product / service features which maximize value to focus on the highest returning initiatives
  • During the initial phases of the product build, work closely with Commercial and Business Operations to drive a successful customer experience (in pilots and acquired customers) focused on value, with the aim to retain and grow the business
  • Support the team in creating a world-class digital product and design team function within Watts
  • Contribute to a high-performing, innovative, one-team culture
  • Support Watts Digital leadership to ensure corporate objectives are met
