About The Position

ExaCare AI is hiring a Product Manager, Data to design, develop, and scale our data model, customer data platform, reporting infrastructure, and data as a product offering. We are looking for someone to own and stand up this function. ExaCare has a uniquely rich dataset and is well poised to provide immense value to its customers, it captures critical operational and clinical signals that are largely invisible to our customers today. Unlocking it represents one of the biggest opportunities to create differentiated product value and long-term competitive advantage. Data includes: benchmarking across 1500+ facilities, 350K+ referrals processed, 25K+ admissions and is growing in depth and in scope as we continue to roll out to more customers and introduce new product features. This data is heavily underleveraged today, and this role exists to transform it into a core product offering and competitive advantage.This is a senior role that bridges technical data capabilities and customer-facing product value. This individual will co-develop data solutions, translate complex analytics into clear business outcomes, and build a high-performing data team from the ground up. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable designing a data model and writing SQL as they are presenting insights to customers or defining product success metrics. You’re a curious, data-minded problem-solver who can operate independently and translate complex data into products, insights, and workflows that drive measurable outcomes for customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data product management, analytics engineering, data engineering or a similar technical data role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills and deep familiarity with relational database design
  • Experience designing data models for new product features and translating business requirements into database design
  • Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools; experience with Omni, Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or similar platforms strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to connect complex technical features directly to customer value, user needs, and business outcomes (like ROI, efficiency gains, or retention)
  • Experience working directly with customers or key stakeholders to gather requirements, validate ideas, and manage feedback loops
  • Track record of driving data initiatives from problem definition to delivery, including managing backlogs, making trade-offs, and aligning cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building analytics or data products in a high-growth B2B SaaS or health tech environment
  • Exposure to AI/ML features or working with data science teams to define requirements for predictive models
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tooling and cloud database infrastructure (e.g., AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift, Snowflake)

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve ExaCare's reporting data model, ensuring schemas are well-structured, scalable, and designed to support both product and analytics needs
  • Partner with engineering to design data schemas for new features: define table structures, relationships, and evaluate tradeoffs in data architecture decisions
  • Define and own ExaCare's data stack and tooling strategy, establishing best practices for data transformation, quality, and governance
  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities to productize ExaCare's data: determine which insights, analytics capabilities, and AI-driven features can deliver the most customer value and competitive differentiation
  • Own the product vision and strategic roadmap for customer-facing data products, continuously exploring innovative ways to leverage our data as a product
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs, validate roadmaps, and co-develop new data capabilities
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and BizOps to develop launch plans, sales collateral, training materials, and communication plans for new data features
  • Own the rollout and onboarding of all data-related initiatives including developing training cadences for internal teams and external customers
  • Lead execution for all customer-facing data and reporting, including building and maintaining dashboards and reports
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer reporting issues, diagnosing and resolving problems independently
