About The Position

Dynatron Software is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of our data platform and insights products. This role will be central to shaping how data flows through our ecosystem. They will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and transforming it into actionable intelligence that powers our software and delivers measurable value to clients. The ideal candidate will combine product management expertise with technical depth, owning vendor relationships for data feeds while driving the internal data team to execute enablement of roadmap features within budget and schedule. They will work closely with Engineering, Data, and Product peers to transform raw data into categorization frameworks, insights, and APIs that enhance our software platforms. This person will balance strategic vision with hands on execution: managing external data partnerships, ensuring technical alignment with our architecture, and championing customer facing use cases that differentiate our products.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of Product Management experience, with a focus on data products, platforms, or analytics solutions
  • Proven ability to work with data teams on pipelines, ETL processes, APIs, and data architecture concepts
  • Experience managing external vendor relationships, licensing agreements, or third-party data integrations
  • Hands-on experience delivering products leveraging complex datasets (e.g., categorization, forecasting, benchmarking, optimization)
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data models, dashboards, and usage metrics to inform product strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to deliver scalable, high-impact products
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical data concepts in business terms

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) preferred
  • Background in automotive fixed ops, transportation, logistics, or similar industries strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
  • Pragmatic Institute Certification or similar product training a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own the data platform roadmap. Prioritize and manage initiatives for ingestion, transformation, categorization, storage, and delivery of data to downstream systems and products.
  • Manage vendor relationships. Evaluate, negotiate, and oversee external data partnerships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance
  • Lead internal data initiatives and guide the Data team in building categorization logic, enrichment pipelines, and insights layers to support reporting, analytics, and product functionality.
  • Define and document product requirements for data feeds, APIs, schemas, and reporting layers that will power customer facing applications
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure robust architecture, scalability, and high quality data availability across products
  • Drive insight generation and collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to surface KPIs, benchmarks, and predictive capabilities that improve client outcomes.
  • Champion data quality and governance by setting standards for accuracy, consistency, and transparency across datasets.
  • Translate business needs into data capabilities, ensuring customer requirements are met with clear, actionable use cases.
  • Support go-to-market readiness by enabling Marketing, Sales, and Client Success with the right narratives, use cases, and enablement tools around data driven features.
  • Evaluate new data opportunities and identify emerging data sources, licensing models, and enrichment services that can expand product capabilities.
