Product Manager - Customer Analytics

Broccoli AISan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Broccoli AI is seeking a Product Manager for Customer Analytics to own the business intelligence and analytics surface for their AI teammates product, which serves plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors. The role involves building dashboards, defining insights, and developing the roadmap for how business intelligence is delivered to customers. The goal is to provide contractors with clear visibility into their operations to drive better business decisions. This is a hands-on role where the Product Manager will personally create dashboards and analyses, moving from reporting on past events to predicting future outcomes for customers.

Requirements

  • Still builds: This is not a spec-writing role; you will personally create dashboards and analyses.
  • Genuinely technical: excellent SQL, comfortable working directly in the warehouse (ClickHouse), and hands-on dashboard craft (in a BI platform, code, or with AI tools).
  • Query models yourself; do not wait for someone to pull data.
  • 5–10 years in product management, analytics, or business intelligence.
  • Proven experience owning a data, analytics, or reporting surface.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn operational data into decisions that were actually made.
  • Experience delivering analytics to external users (customer-facing reporting, embedded analytics, or client-facing analytical work).
  • High-agency: ability to bring structure to ambiguity, move proactively, and own outcomes end to end.
  • Strong business judgment: ability to identify the real need behind a customer request and prioritize based on P&L impact.
  • Excited to work in-office five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Own Broccoli's customer-facing analytics and business intelligence surface, from hand-built dashboards for top customers through the roadmap for how insights become product.
  • Partner directly with customers to understand their needs and translate them into core views and insights that impact their business operations.
  • Build analytics yourself, including performance dashboards, revenue deep dives, and cross-customer benchmarks.
  • Decide how analytics are delivered, whether within customer's existing tools, Broccoli's own tools, or integrated into the product.
  • Own the BI roadmap, determining which insights to build next, which become templates and automated workflows, and which ship as product features.
  • Identify and interpret key datasets driving customer decision-making, utilizing both Broccoli data and customers' operational data, to define essential customer insights.
