About The Position

TubeScience Labs is the applied-AI team inside TubeScience, the largest performance-video company in paid social. TubeScience is Meta's largest creative partner and AppLovin's #1 creative partner, producing over 8,000 original ads monthly from a 100,000 sq ft Los Angeles studio. Labs transforms this data and playbook into AI tools that are used in production daily. This role is embedded with the Creative Strategy team, building LLM-powered tools, data pipelines, and workflows for campaign planning, brief writing, and creative evaluation. It's a hands-on role focused on building and shipping tools, with a strong emphasis on engineering depth and product instincts.

Requirements

  • Product Manager or engineer with strong product sense and comfortable shipping and operating production code.
  • Strong engineering depth is non-negotiable.
  • Strong UX sensibility, building tools that are obvious and pleasant to use.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating LLM APIs.
  • Comfortable with SQL at a working level (pulling data, writing joins, debugging pipeline issues).
  • Ability to independently deploy and own tools end-to-end (e.g., Vercel, Railway).
  • Fast learner in new domains, with the ability to quickly pick up advertising concepts and proprietary methodologies.
  • Proven track record of shipping, documenting, and owning projects with measurable business impact.

  • Familiarity with direct-response or performance advertising.
  • Track record of picking up a complex domain quickly.
  • Experience integrating AI into strategic workflows.
  • Experience building internal tools or platforms from scratch and managing foundational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship AI tools for strategists, including roadmap generators, brief scorers, hook writers, sprint planners, and competitive intelligence tools, focusing on reliability, speed, and simplifying complex workflows.
  • Own the data pipeline by transforming raw performance data, consumer reviews, and competitive intel into structured inputs using Python scripts, API integrations, and SQL queries.
  • Drive tool adoption by training the team, gathering feedback, tracking usage, and iterating on the tools.
  • Shape the roadmap for tooling growth by providing product and engineering perspectives on what to build, in what order, and why.
