About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager for Consumer Products to join our team. This role involves analyzing product performance, planning SKU roadmaps, managing launch timelines, overseeing overseas manufacturing, collaborating with design teams, and staying informed about market trends. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, and possess excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to measure, locate, and retrieve data from e-commerce and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to make product decisions based on data analysis.
  • 4+ years of experience managing physical consumer products with a regular launch cadence (beauty, accessories, apparel, or fast-moving consumer goods).
  • Real e-commerce experience with Amazon Seller Central (listing and variation structure, Brand Analytics, inventory, replenishment).
  • DTC site experience (Shopify or similar).
  • Experience managing prototyping and production with overseas factories and navigating international relationships.
  • A strong point of view on the consumer market, with the ability to explain market shifts and translate them into proposals.
  • Proven ability to connect and drive action across teams (marketing, ops, design, manufacturing) without direct management.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and analyze sell-through, inventory turns, return rates, and customer reviews monthly to inform product decisions (reordering, discontinuing, modifying, or marketing).
  • Plan 2+ seasons of launches with data-backed rationale and set/maintain SKU data standards across ERP, website, and Amazon.
  • Build and maintain backward-planned launch schedules in Asana, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth and flagging potential slippage.
  • Act as the primary contact for overseas manufacturing partners regarding specs, prototyping, quality, and cost; manage lead times and minor spec changes, escalating pricing and major changes.
  • Brief designers with clear specifications and timelines, and document design decisions to establish repeatable team standards.
  • Track consumer trends, TikTok, competitors, and price bands, translating observations into product proposals and roadmap decisions.
