Creative Producer, Consumer Products

ParamountLos Angeles, CA
$85,000 - $112,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Creative Producer makes the Studio's work happen. Reporting to the Art Director, this role is embedded in the creative process from concept through delivery, determining how each presentation, video, or select design assignment should be produced, assembling the right internal and external team, and turning an idea into a clear plan, story, and finished asset. The Producer brings creative fluency, not just coordination, contributing to briefs, scripts, narrative structure, references, and music sourcing and direction while owning vendors, budgets, SOWs, timelines, and production logistics. Comfortable creating rough assemblies or simple edits when useful, the Producer is a production-led creative partner rather than a standalone operations function. This role partners closely across Art Director, Senior Designer, Designer, Franchise, Licensing, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and External Creative and Production Partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant creative production experience across presentation, video, motion, design, or integrated creative work
  • Demonstrated success producing presentation, video, motion, or integrated creative work in entertainment, consumer products, branding, or agency environments
  • Solid story and creative judgment, including the ability to write concise briefs or scripts and shape narrative structure, references, and music sourcing or direction
  • Proven command of vendor ecosystems, budgets, estimates, SOWs, schedules, negotiations, production workflows, and asset or usage considerations
  • Working fluency in presentation, editing, and motion workflows; comfortable creating rough assemblies or simple edits when useful
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted creative and production workflows for briefs, scripts, story development, visual references, rough visualization, and video production, with sound judgment around feasibility, rights, approvals, vendor practices, and production implications

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Art Director to define the story, scope, production strategy, and right internal, external, or hybrid approach for each assignment, delivering clear production strategies, scopes, and project plans
  • Build and manage a trusted ecosystem of agencies, editors, motion designers, presentation specialists, writers, composers, and freelance partners, assembling the right vendor teams and negotiated production plans for each assignment
  • Develop briefs, scripts, story structures, boards, and creative references; source music options and organize footage, assets, usage requirements, and handoffs
  • Own project-level estimates, budgets, SOWs, timelines, reviews, approvals, and production logistics, producing schedules, review plans, asset packages, and delivery documentation while anticipating risks and tradeoffs
  • Create rough assemblies, select reels, or simple creative edits when useful to clarify an idea, accelerate a handoff, or advance the work forward
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and at the Studio's creative standard, making early story and production choices that reduce rework and create clear, confident creative pathways, and ensuring external partners operate as a seamless extension of the Studio
