This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end product strategy for an assigned segment, including benefit design, competitive positioning, rate considerations, and portfolio optimization. The Product Manager will establish short and long-term product goals, translate strategy into actionable initiatives, and conduct regular portfolio and market assessments. They will monitor and communicate product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and serve as the organizational subject matter expert for products and benefits. The role also involves leading the development, filing, and implementation of new products and benefit enhancements, ensuring all product documentation is accurate, and coordinating cross-functional teams for successful launches. Additionally, the Product Manager will maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, analyze their impact, and manage operational execution of product management activities. They will also serve as a consultative resource for Sales and Account Management, participate in client meetings, and develop client-facing materials. Finally, the role includes leading or working with other departments on miscellaneous projects and performing other assigned duties.
