  • Experience managing credit and debit card product content, including rewards, benefits, and value propositions, with a strong understanding of how product messaging drives customer understanding and engagement.
  • Background in product marketing or product management for consumer financial products, ideally cards, payments, or related rewards programs.
  • Hands‑on experience delivering customer‑facing product and marketing content across digital channels, including planning, reviews, UAT support, and production validation, within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of card customer journeys, including how customers discover, enroll in, and use rewards and benefits across digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with card disclosures, eligibility rules, benefits terms, and compliance considerations, with the ability to translate complex product details into clear, accurate customer content.
  • Ability to drive a content management strategy that balances customer clarity, brand consistency, and risk requirements, rather than a purely technical or system‑centric approach.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership, with experience leading product or marketing content efforts end‑to‑end and delivering results with minimal direction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple product or marketing priorities simultaneously, coordinating across product, marketing, legal, risk, and digital partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness, especially in high‑visibility, customer‑facing card product experiences.
  • Highly collaborative work style, with a track record of partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver clear, compliant, and customer‑centric outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to use customer insights, data, or feedback to inform product messaging and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Activate the connective tissue between U.S. Bank, customer experience, digital, technology, and business line strategy to identify and prioritize product / portfolio opportunities, and establish the product vision, charter, and roadmap.
  • Define product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to prioritize Features/Epics and breaks down work into actionable steps to facilitate product discovery, design, development, and delivery.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle and drives the product roadmap leveraging OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Create the product in conjunction with agile, experience design, technology, and risk partners to achieve business and customer outcomes.
