About The Position

MediaRadar is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the capture quality and scalability of its creative pipeline, a crucial data stream for business intelligence. This role focuses on specific, critical workflows including in-house creative capture systems, third-party vendor relationships for expanded coverage across TV, Digital, and Print, and TV scheduling and program guide infrastructure. The Product Manager will collaborate with operations, ML/AI engineering, data engineering, and commercial teams to enhance automation, improve capture quality, and reduce manual processes. The primary goal is to ensure clients receive complete, accurate, and well-categorized ad coverage across channels without a proportional increase in headcount. The role requires developing strong AI/ML product management skills, understanding model behavior, contributing to feedback loop design, and addressing data quality as a product challenge.

Requirements

  • 1-10 years of product management, technical program management, or closely related experience at a data-centric or technology company.
  • Ability to write clear, detailed, technically grounded requirements (user stories and specs) that engineering teams can act on without follow-up meetings.
  • Analytical mindset: comfort working with data to find answers, validate assumptions, and investigate problems independently.
  • Strong written communication skills for collaboration across multiple time zones.
  • Self-directed and execution-oriented: ability to identify work, prioritize, and drive to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to advertising, media measurement, or data intelligence.
  • Familiarity with TV data, program guides, or broadcast/streaming workflows.
  • Hands-on exposure to ML/AI-driven data pipelines (understanding what makes them better).
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones (India, Europe).
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Databricks, or similar data/engineering platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the PM roadmap for ad creative capture across TV, Digital, and Print, focusing on automation and coverage expansion.
  • Drive vendor management and requirement clarity with third-party data partners, writing detailed, actionable user stories for engineering.
  • Identify and plan to close gaps in capture coverage, prioritizing high-impact improvements.
  • Partner with operations teams to align workflows with product improvements and reduce manual effort.
  • Own the program guide and scheduling data pipeline, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integration with downstream enrichment workflows.
  • Drive the modernization roadmap for scheduling infrastructure in collaboration with engineering.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of how scheduling data feeds into TV ad attribution and classification.
  • Own the model quality feedback loop for data streams, understanding confidence scores, surfacing errors, and working with ML engineering to improve model performance.
  • Contribute to Human-in-the-Loop (HiTL) workflow design for junk detection, deduplication, and classification confidence.
  • Develop fluency in AI/ML concepts relevant to workflows, including evals, prompt engineering basics, and data quality as a feature.
  • Act as a cross-functional partner, collaborating with ML engineers, data engineers, content operations, and commercial product leads across multiple time zones.
  • Manage competing priorities across time zones with clarity and judgment.
  • Proactively surface insights and risks to stakeholders.
