About the position
DataGrail is seeking a Product Manager to join their growing team. The Product Manager will be responsible for owning the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of a specific product area. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize backlog, and leverage data to drive decisions. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert, establish relationships with various departments, and contribute to the continuous delivery of features. Ultimately, the Product Manager will play a key role in shaping the product's future and driving its success.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution of a DataGrail product area
- Plan, prioritize, and manage development of new features
- Design and build a product strategy to differentiate DataGrail
- Define features and establish a long-term vision for assigned SaaS products
- Establish lines of communication with customers and gather feedback
- Partner with Engineers to outline user requirements and use cases
- Conduct competitive analysis research
- Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive feature decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams to solve problems
- Have empathy for customers and stakeholders
- Distill big picture requirements into features that support the business vision
- Prioritize backlog of user stories, features, and bugs efficiently
- Become a Subject Matter Expert for DataGrail products and development cycles
- Establish relationships with Customer Success, Professional Services, Sales, and Marketing
- Action current roadmap and collaborate across the organization for feature delivery
- Run planning meetings, retrospectives, and stand-ups with cross-functional delivery team
- Scope MVP features and milestones for future concepts
- Identify tradeoffs to prioritize features and negotiate with stakeholders
- Establish product metrics and KPIs for product area and track progress
- Collaborate with UX and conduct product feedback interviews with customers
- Present the Product Vision to customers
- Champion alignment around enabling Privacy Managers to create privacy programs
- Be a subject matter expert for specific product area, internally and with customers
- Mentor junior members of the team
- Collaborate with Product leadership to prioritize and build product areas roadmap
Requirements

- Scope MVP features and milestones within 90 days
- Identify tradeoffs and communicate with stakeholders within 180 days
- Establish product metrics and KPIs for product area within 180 days
- Collaborate with UX and conduct product feedback interviews with customers within 180 days
- Understand and present Product Vision to customers within 180 days
- Collaborate with UX Research to champion alignment and socialize research deliverables within 365 days
- Be a subject matter expert for specific product area within 365 days
- Mentor junior members of the team within 365 days
- Collaborate with Product leadership to prioritize and build product areas 4-quarter roadmap within 365 days
