About The Position

In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam’s etch and deposition products, driving innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. As a Product Manager at Lam, you play a crucial role in defining the strategy, roadmap, and features of the product. You are both strategic and tactical, spanning the entire product life cycle, from definition and planning to production release, upgrades, and end-of-life. Your leadership skills will be vital in ensuring cross-functional collaboration across different departments to drive the success of the portfolio of products. With your expertise in both business and technical domains, you’ll bring the product vision to life for Lam and our customers.

Nice To Haves

BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering (Chemical, Materials Science, Mechanical) or related technical field
Prior experience in semiconductor environment strongly preferred
MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

Own the end to end product lifecycle; definition, planning development, production release, sustaining, upgrades and end of life
Define and manage the product offering and configurations through Product Option Architecture
Define and execute platform lifecycle strategies, including product extensions, upgrades, sustaining changes and obsolescence management
Serve as the primary Product manager owner accountable for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Problem Reports (PRs) and Non-Standard Requests (NSRs)
Own change prioritization and disposition, ensure configuration accuracy across POA/CRM, BOMs, documentation and manufacturing builds
Act as the central coordination point across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, product support and account teams
