About The Position

Hudl is seeking Product Management interns to join their team at their Headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a Product Management intern, you will focus on identifying and solving real problems, owning initiatives from conception to completion, and measuring their impact. You will be integrated into a product team, working on software used by coaches, athletes, and parents across various sports levels globally. The role involves understanding complex product challenges in a competitive and growing sports software market. Interns will gain real scope early in their experience and are expected to take the craft seriously.

Requirements

  • A current student pursuing a degree in any field (e.g., computer science, business, design, communications, or adjacent).
  • Some Product Management exposure through a class, project, club, or job.
  • A problem-solver's instinct, with a focus on why problems are worth solving and how to measure impact.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, including good writing and active listening.
  • Ability to advocate a point of view.
  • Collaborative nature, making teams and projects better.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to live in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2027 summer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a builder, having created something (e.g., software project, small business, community, product prototype).
  • Prior Product Management experience, such as an internship or working in a product-adjacent role.
  • Competitive curiosity, paying attention to existing products and their approaches.
  • Experience with influence without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Identify a real problem worth solving.
  • Write user stories and advocate for the right tradeoffs with your squad.
  • Validate ideas by interviewing coaches, athletes, or parents and translating feedback into clear requirements.
  • Track and quantify the impact of shipped features.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Sales, Support, and Marketing for product rollouts.
  • Own your role by writing documentation, setting sprint goals, and escalating issues when necessary.
