About The Position

Gemini is seeking a curious, data-driven Product Management Intern to join their Data team for a 16-week fall internship program. This is an immersive role where interns will own real products, users, and impact from the first week. The internship requires being in person 3 days a week at their New York City, NY office. Interns will be expected to be AI-first, data-driven in decision-making, support the full project lifecycle, build cross-functional alignment, and ship impactful features. Gemini is a global crypto and Web3 platform committed to unlocking the next era of financial, creative, and personal freedom.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Business, or a related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work easily across engineering, operations, data, and AI operations.
  • Ability to run weekly project meetings with stakeholders, keep everyone aligned, and drive the group toward a shared goal.
  • A bias for moving fast and getting things done quickly.
  • Ability to break big, ambiguous questions into orderly pieces and turn large projects into incremental milestones.
  • A relentless growth mindset, actively seeking and acting on feedback.
  • Agile and adaptable, capable of quickly picking up new concepts and ideas.
  • User-focused with real empathy for people's problems and an instinct for products that delight.
  • A foundation in data analysis and insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical fluency to understand technical complexity, architectural decisions, and accompanying tradeoffs.
  • Hands-on experience from a prior internship, startup, hackathon, club leadership, or a project where something was built or researched.
  • A passion for consumer-first technology.
  • Knowledge of and interest in cryptocurrencies, cryptography, and/or blockchain technology.
  • A track record of accomplishing difficult tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Be AI-first, using modern tools to move faster, think bigger, and raise the bar for the whole team.
  • Be data-driven in decision-making by running quantitative and qualitative user research, conducting competitive research and gap analysis, pulling and analyzing data from Databricks, and turning insights into clear, compelling recommendations for Engineering teams.
  • Support the full project lifecycle, including drafting product requirements documents, providing design and development support, running user acceptance testing, and contributing to release planning.
  • Build cross-functional alignment by helping shape product vision, writing requirements, and aligning engineering and back office/operations teams.
  • Ship impactful features by partnering with stakeholders and engineers, launching features into production, and tracking metrics.
