The Ground Systems Deployment and Construction team is responsible for developing functional drone charging sites, focusing on world-class construction execution that is on-time, on-budget, and uses scalable, cost-optimized designs. As a Construction Management Intern in Dallas-Fort Worth, you will support the rollout of Zipline's systems across multiple metros, bridging the gap between the UAS world and the built environment. Your responsibilities will span the entire process from site identification through permitting, approvals, and construction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams like Communications, Government Affairs, Engineering, and Operations to address operational and technical challenges and expedite customer site activation. The role requires technical savviness and the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors. You will drive all aspects of project construction for Zipline’s ground infrastructure in the region, including contractor evaluation, bid evaluation, design review, full-scope site construction management, and project completion oversight. You will work with various teams including Deployment, Real Estate, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Engineering to secure necessary approvals and expand the network. Additionally, you will manage external vendors and ensure project timelines align with Zipline’s strategic goals.
